Our Story

Ghar Baar is a women-led space in Karachi, built with love, care, and a lot of heart.

We created Ghar Baar ourselves because we were tired of feeling like the only places to sit, breathe, and spend time were cafés and restaurants. We were also done with the idea of another bland BnB or hotel room that feels cold, temporary, and impersonal.

We wanted to make something warmer.

A place that feels like home, even if it is only yours for a few hours.

So we built the kind of space we wished existed. A safe, comfortable little escape where friends can hang out without rushing, students can study in peace, couples can take a quiet getaway, and anyone can step away from home for a while and just breathe.

For people travelling to Karachi, Ghar Baar is a clean, private, welcoming space to land in. For people already living here, it is a pause from the noise of the city.

Ghar Baar is not just a room.

It is a breather, a hideout, a little home away from home.
